John said the following, :I'm sure that a great many of you are aware that I have wanted to take my life story to the silver screen for many years. Well at last the grand plan is taking shape and the words "Lights, Camera and Action" have been spoken!

As with the Hit Campaign ten years ago for my 50th Birthday - the first thing we did was book the London Palladium for the celebration for the night the chart was announced. It worked and it was a Top Ten Hit Record!

So, the first thing we decided to do when we started the Movie Campaign was book the largest and most prestigious Cinema in the land - The Odeon Leicester Square for the Premiere. And, yes, as I hoped we can have the Red Carpet and the Limos arriving and everything else you would expect a Movie like this would have on its big Launch. And, if you were at Aylesbury Market Square 1978, Gig 2000, The Royal Albert Hall, in the Abbey Road Choir or joined the Hit Celebrations at the Palladium – it's your Movie too – you're in it. I have spent the last few weeks gathering together archive footage – there's loads of good stuff. I think it's a great story that will make a fabulous film. I'm determined it will work and we'll have a Blockbuster. Movie Stardom is a mere one year away!"
